Girls Football coach

We are looking for a self-employed football coach to join our team at North East Sport, who has a passion for girls and women’s football. Girls football is an important aspect of our organisation, as we strive to provide equal opportunities for young people of all genders to participate in physical activities and realise their potential.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be able to plan and deliver sessions independently to a high standard.
  • Be creative in their delivery to ensure high levels of engagement and enjoyment for a range of footballing ages and abilities.
  • Have experience of advertising and marketing sessions (for example using North East Sport social media).
  • Have the willingness and passion to drive the programme forward.
  • Be qualified to FA Level 2 (UEFA C) in Football Coaching as a minimum.

It would be advantageous to have a current FA DBS, however this can be sought upon appointment. All roles are subject to the clearance of an FA DBS check.

An in-date FA Safeguarding and First Aid would also be preferable, however this training can be provided.

We are offering the successful person 5 hours per week (on a self-employed basis), which will initially be made up of 3 hours of delivery and 2 hours of planning, advertising admin, etc. There is scope for this role to expand significantly for the right person.

At North East Sport, we believe in providing equal opportunities for all, and by promoting girls football, we are ensuring that young girls have access to the same opportunities and benefits as boys. We hope to inspire and empower the next generation of female footballers and promote a positive image of women in sports.

The rate is variable depending on experience.
